This application replicates Garmin's G1000 NXi, an integrated avionics system commonly found in small general aviation aircraft. The app features both Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MFD) in a single interface, meticulously simulating various aspects such as flight instruments, navigation systems, avionics controls, flight plan management, radio communication systems, and other subsystems. The navigation database is regularly updated throughout app cycles.

For the most authentic experience, users are recommended to run the app in PFD and MFD modes on two separate iPads connected via a Wi-Fi network. With this setup, users can hone their skills operating the G1000 NXi system independently or link the app to a desktop flight simulator for a comprehensive flying experience. Compatible simulators include X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), Flight Simulator X (FSX), and Prepar3D (P3D). Supported aircraft types for customization range from single-engine/twin-engine piston aircraft with 4 or 6 cylinders, with or without Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) systems, to single-engine/twin-engine turboprop and jet aircraft.
